There's no better feeling than Christmas approaching, but how do you achieve the perfect holiday look in your office?

You don't need to recreate a winter wonderland to get into the festive spirit. Restricted space to work with or strict guidelines shouldn't prevent you from becoming an interior designer for a couple of hours. Put some Christmas songs on and prepare to create an office that turns every Grinch into a green-eyed monster!

Christmas tree

It's an obvious one but get creative with it! There are so many different types in all shapes, sizes and colours. Got limited space? Try a wall mounted tree (£34.99 - Argos) or a slim one (£20 - Tesco) which are designed to fit in the tightest of offices.xmas tree.jpg

Hanging decorations

These are easy to string from the roof or the windows of your office. The perfect winter theme can be created with some hanging snowflakes (£2 - Amazon), which are fairly inexpensive and easy to hang and store afterwards. Why not consider investing in some Christmas themed bunting (£6.99 - Not On The High Street)? You can easily drape this over a cubicle or a wall.

Advent calendar

Miss out on the typical boring chocolate calendar this year - make it unique by personalising one for your office! Try creating a photo advent calendar (£14 - Not On The High Street) or let your team pop a balloon ever day leading up to Christmas (£16 - Not On The High Street). Both of these ideas are easy enough to make yourself if you wanted to save a penny.original_personalised-photo-christmas-advent-calendar.jpg

Wreaths

Nothing says Christmas like a traditional wreath adorned with red berries and pine cones (£10 - Tesco). But why not try a bauble wreath (£10 - Wilko) or use leftover decorations from your tree to make your own? If you want to be different, a new type of wreath has started to become popular, made up of Brussels sprouts (£14 - Tesco). We may not be in agreement as to whether or not they taste nice, but we can all say they definitely look quirky hung up on a wall!

Window stickers

Let the outside world know that you're ready for Christmas by decorating your windows. Try some snowflakes (£5.99 - eBay) or a whole scene involving Santa and his reindeer (£1.50 - Wilko). These stickers are easily removed and most of them can be re-used for extra value!

Now you've got some Christmas inspiration, it's time to completely transform your office!
