In the most recent update of Instagram you can now enjoy the peace and sanity knowing you don't have to chose just one photo to recognise that holiday/wedding/night out/new outfit...

Instagram has introduced the option to upload up to 10 photos or videos in a single upload in its 10.9 version for iOS and the newest version of the app for Android on Google Play.

Celebrities have been quick to jump on the trend, including Sarah Jessica Parker as she celebrates former Sex and the City co-star Kristin Davis' birthday...

How can I use multiple uploads?

  • There is a new icon in the bottom right corner of the display, 'select multiple'.
  • Tap this option and choose the images and/or videos you'd like for your brand new carousel upload.
  • Each image can be edited and have different filters - but all images belong to the same caption and tags.

Blue dots will appear under carousel uploads so that your friends can recognise when there's more than one image to browse.

Following the release of Instagram Stories, this is a fairly big update for Instagram and allows much more versatility for its users when they want to upload their latest memories.
