Clark Willis Law Firm LLP approached Thrive to assist with giving their website a facelift. Their existing site was beginning to show signs of age and didn’t fall in line with recent developments of some of the brand assets.

We held initial meetings with the team at Clark Willis to get a good understanding of what was and wasn’t working with the existing site. We discussed and brainstormed in detail possible changes to site structure, page count, messaging, content and additional functionality that would enhance the overall user experience and assist with positioning Clark Willis as one of the leading law firms in South Durham.

Updates and functionally changes to the CMS (Content Management System) to help the internal marketers and content managers, making it easier to update and enhance the site moving forward.

Once all was agreed we began the project with a wireframing workshop in which all key pages were strategised and planned. These wireframes not only provided a focus for the project but also allowed us to have fantastic conversations around how visitors to the site would navigate and explore. The also had the added benefit of providing a fantastic resource around planning and writing the actual content for the site. As an organisation, we would always recommend wireframing is an important step of the process that helps eliminate scope creep and overrun back and forth communication during the design and build stage.

Based on the approved wireframes and content we moved on to the design stage, providing an initial concept that was agreed first time due to the extensive planning that proceeded. The rest of the site was then designed out and a visual prototype was supplied for comment, feedback and approval.

This was passed through various stages until everything was agreed for build and the result was the site that is now live – A well-received site that matches the brief perfectly and everyone is proud of!
