Let your creative juices FLOW! It's time to rejuvenate that lacklustre social media strategy and inject some VISUALS! Yes, really, we're talking to YOU!

Of course, you might not even have fully adopted social media marketing yet - in which case, read here. However, whether you're just starting out, a fully fledged social media advocate or somewhere in the middle - visuals are key.

It might feel impossible - and soooooooooo much more time-consuming and inconvenient - but the results are proven...!

1. Get pinning!

Use Pinterest! Perfect for creatives, particularly those in the food, crafts and design industries. Adopt hashtags and pin images of varying sizes - you can also share your pins across platforms.

2. Use photo albums

Facebook and Google+ allow you to create photo albums, so don't leave those images unorganised. Sort them, caption and tag them - then SHARE! Allow people to go to a direct resource, which they can comment on and share to increase the likelihood of widening your audience.

3. Tweet images

Use Twitter's capabilities for sharing images, rather than just sticking to 140 characters of text. yes, the image link will take up some character allowance, but you're going to capture attention with a photo in followers' Twitter feeds. Did you know that tweets with images get 55% more leads?

4. Try Instagram

Make sharing photos more exciting! Use visual platform Instagram to share pictures and video with other businesses and locals. You could also consider Snapchat, another popular alternative!

5. SlideShare!!!

It's free, increases traffic and you can use presentations and PDFs that are already in existence - save time and boost traffic (what more do you want?)!

6. Share infographics

Use Pinterest to find a wealth of infographics, so even if you don't have your own company-branded infographics, you're sharing useful knowledge in a visual way - easy peasy!

8. Go GIF crazy

Animate your content and visual updates the BuzzFeed style, by adding GIFs. They can be humourous, informative or simply personalise your content. Create your own in-office GIFs or download popular ones.
