How to Achieve Measurable Success in Less Time

As a business owner/manager, I suspect that one of the resources you are short on is time – am I right?

I also believe that other primary concerns will be delivering results and measuring success?

By devising and creating and, most importantly, using and referring to, a strategy, you can expect to save both money and time, gain focus and drive results.

So, whilst you may not immediately have appreciated the benefits of a strategy (and therefore a plan – check out this blog ‘Do You Need a Marketing Strategy or Marketing Plan?’), it is possible that you are currently questioning your marketing – is the effort delivering the required outputs, or you are considering undertaking a number of marketing initiatives but are unsure of what to use, where and how?

By developing a strategy you are putting in place a framework that will challenge you to consider and clarify various aspects of your business’ overall objectives.  We cover the specifics of this in ‘5 Questions You Need to Ask to Create Your Company's Marketing Strategy’.

Benefits of a strategy abound whether your organisation is large or small – focus and direction centred on identified opportunities and viable segments result in better directed budgets, whilst detailed desired outcomes enable constant measurement and assessment.

So, have we convinced you?  Would you prefer to direct your efforts and money towards activities, platforms and resources which have been identified of being of value and use?  Would you be better served by focusing your communications on those who have a disposition towards you and your offering, rather than blindly broadcasting far and wide in the hope that ‘something will stick’?

Your first draft will probably be just that – your first – a strategy undertaking is often uncomfortable and hard work – it forces you to think, to research, to challenge, to look at your environment in real terms and with brutal honesty, but ultimately it will deliver!
