Event Review: Marketing & Social Media Classes with South Durham Enterprise Agency

Thrive has been lucky enough to be holding some great classes on social media and content creation since September, with South Durham Enterprise Agency.

Held in Newton Aycliffe, we have already held three sessions for local business people and have had a great time understanding and dealing with the issues of local companies.

Our first session, in September, focused on explaining and dissecting each social media platform for the audience. We discussed the individual benefits and challenges for platforms, based on the business (B2B or B2C and by sector), as well as the modern changes to different platforms and social media usage.

The second session focused closely on Twitter and Facebook, with a hands-on approach, meaning that we got the chance to interact with the attendees and help optimise their profiles.

With an open-mind we offered our regular attendees to choose what the third session would focus on - with an overwhelming response of, "blogging, please!".

So, blogging came next.
