The limited roll out of emoji branded Pepsi bottles last year is due to hit 100 markets this summer, it's been revealed.

"Pepsimoji" will be revealed in a huge campaign with emojis appearing on both cans and bottles, including Pepsi, Pepsi Max and Pepsi Light (diet Pepsi).

The campaign, actually labelled "Say It With Pepsi", was first rolled out last summer in Canada, with a summer and holiday programme, followed by Russia, Thailand and Pakistan.

All of the designs fit the Pepsi circular logo shape and the colours of blue, red and white, so to match the existing brand identity.

There will also be a global football programme thanks to the partnership between PepsiCo and UEFA, as well as a fashion collaboration with Jeremy Scott.

More than 70 unique emojis have been created in line with the Say It With Emoji campaign push.

PepsiCo Chief Executive Indra Nooyi revealed: “Emojis are the language of today but no one has put them in the world like Pepsi will this year. With more than 70 global and locally uniquely designed emojis printed on cans, bottles and cups throughout the world, you’re going to be able to ‘say it with a Pepsi’ all through the summer of 2016.” [Source: The Drum]

Pepsi Max and "Say It With Emoji"

The Pepsi Max brand has recruited some of the top footballers in our Premier League to roll out the emoji based campaign, including Sergio Aguero (Man City), David de Gea (Man United) and Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal).

#MaxFootball falls in line with the launch of the #Pepsimoji campaign which sees the Western Europe leg of Pepsi's global marketing push of the campaign.
