Should I Choose Hubspot Free or HubSpot Starter for My Business?

If you're ready to take the first step with HubSpot for business, there are a number of options to choose from.

To break the pricing packages down, there are three software categories:

  • CRM software
  • Marketing software
  • Sales software

From there you have multiple options, dependent on which you choose. However, we recommend that most businesses that would like to see the full power of HuBSpot choose a demo - which we can provide. From there you can pick HubSpot Free or HubSpot Starter.

Let's run through your options with both of the smallest (and cheapest) marketing packages.

What is HubSpot Free?

Pricing: $0 user/month

The basics you need to capture, track, and convert leads — for free.

What do you get?

  • Lead Gen Dashboard
  • Lead Flows
  • Collected Forms
  • Contact Database
  • Lead Insights (First 7 days of website activity after lead capture)

What is HubSpot Starter?

Pricing: $50 user/month

Built for business and teams

What do you get?

You get all of the above, as you get with HubSpot Free, plus:

  • Lead Insights (No time limit on website activity after lead capture)
  • Custom Form Fields
  • Removal of HubSpot Branding

Please note that limits apply to both HubSpot Marketing Free and Starter. We can discuss these limits when you choose to discuss your HubSpot package with Thrive.

"I want more than this!"

If you're looking for more options, there are also other levels of the software including:

  • Basic Marketing: £165 per month
  • Pro Marketing: £655 per month
  • Enterprise Marketing: £1,960 per month
